The Cluster responded to childcare demands after a wide-scale consultation process in 2008. This feedback in conjunction with a mapping of existing childcare services has informed the set-up of four new before and after school clubs in Cluster schools they are:

Broadbeens Before and After School Care (Starting Sept 2011) - located at Great Meols Primary School, Elwyn Road, Meols, Wirral, CH47 7AP. Contact Lesley Broadbeer on 0151 632 4606.

CHAOS (Children's Activities Out of School): Before & After School Care - located at St Bridget's CE Primary School and West Kirby Primary School. Contact Jennie Ashton on 07541 427 340.

Future Stars (Before and After School Care) – located at Hoylake Holy Trinity School. Contact Alicia Sailsbury on 07784 692 273 or 07939 058 377.

Children's Centres have been set up to support pregnant mums and mums/dads/carers of young children 0-5 years. Each Children's Centre is designed to support families living in pram pushing distance of the centre. The North Deeside local centres are:
